Sarthak

Giving Wings to Dreams

Water is a source of energy; it powers our lives and needs to be protected. Project Bhagirathi is focused on regenerating usable water sources through sustainable efforts like rainwater harvesting and plantation. This project was devised to bring about awareness on the importance of groundwater, and foster public participation in saving this important resource.

Focused on the development of children in rural India, Project Neev is a cause taken up by Sarthak to promote education among the underprivileged. Through this project, we aim to generate awareness to children about available opportunities, and train and prepare them to become responsible and educated citizens of the nation. We set up camps and conduct seminars to help children participate across educational programs that are run by the Indian government.

A social engineering pilot program, Project Revive focuses on the strength of women, and is aimed at building resilience. Through this project, we want to train inmates at correctional facilities, so they can easily integrate back into society, and take up causes for the upliftment of society.

About Our Organization

Sarthak is an innovative and mission-driven organization that was founded in 2012 as an NGO in Central India to increase awareness on causes that bind communities together.

Over the last 10 years, Sarthak has committed itself across a variety of projects and sectors - from education to the environment, it has worked with small and large partner organizations, while independently focusing on how to bridge gaps to implement programs for the benefit of society.

Our Projects

Miyawaki Forest Project

The Miyawaki plantation project taken up at Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, is focused on protecting and preserving the environment. Through this project, the aim is to give rise to self-sustaining forests which take 2-3 years to grow into green covers which help in lowering temperatures across concrete heat islands, reducing noise and air pollution, attracting local flora and fauna and creating carbon sinks.
